Technology & Design Manufacturing

Multiphasic fluid (oil, water, gas) enters the vertical pipe tangentially, creating a cyclonic action in the pipe where a majority of the gas is separated and flows upward. The remaining gas is carried under with the liquid stream (oil and water) and enters the lower pipe where the gas is completely separated.

Liquid level is controlled by a SOCLL unit in the center of the second pipe using floater buoyancy to synchronously adjust Gas and liquid dual balance valves.

The SOCLL unit  removes 90% of electrical control valves, switches and sensors. It gives high reliable with Low equipment and maintenance costs.

By properly designing the system, an active liquid level control system is NOT necessary. Liquid level in the vertical section is self-regulated with SOCLL unit and thus does not require the use of any electrical control valves. It is the implementation of this technique that makes the equipment a truly low cost and efficient measurement system.
